The name OMIΛEIN (pronounced “o-mee-LEEN”), means “to have a conversation.”

It appears in the story where the two disciples are having a conversation on the road from Jerusalem to Emmaus, talking about Jesus’ death and reports of his resurrection. In that moment Jesus himself comes near to them, walks with them, and teaches the disciples about himself.

And that is the goal of the OMIΛEIN courses and material, to talk – in Greek – about this amazing person and the scriptures about him and to expect that Jesus himself will come close to us and join us in the conversation.
